Laurèn DeMates  

fullsizerender-3Laurèn DeMates is a sustainability professional committed to improving the environmental impact of government, corporations, and
individuals. Her work has included applying behavioral and social science-based strategies to increase energy efficiency in the federal government and assisting companies collect and analyze corporate social responsibility metrics. Laurèn is also a LEED Green Associate and currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Education:
Master’s degree in International Affairs specializing in Environmental Policy and a regional specialization of Latin America from the University of California, San Diego.

Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo. Concentration in Cross-Cultural Studies and International Development and minors in Spanish and Anthropology/Geography.

Rosaly Byrd

Rosaly is a Florida native whose experience in sustainability dates back to her childhood days participating in the beach clean-ups that her father, an environmental engineer, put on twice a year. She has lived in Haiti and Brazil, IMG_6234 - Copyworking on environmental policy and sustainable development for the Inter-American Development Bank and UNDP. Rosaly is an avid reader and passionate outdoor enthusiast and is currently living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, working for the UNDP World Centre for Sustainable Development (RIO+ Centre).

Education:
Master of International Affairs (MIA) specializing in International Environmental Policy and a regional specialization of Latin America from University of California, San Diego.

Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a concentration in International Studies from Florida Atlantic University, Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter, Florida.
